Canine Cavalry was founded in 2023 by Jackie and Brie—two Service Dog handlers with backgrounds in the military and first responder communities. What started as Brie making homemade birthday treats for Colin quickly turned into a purpose-driven business built on love, healing, and a shared passion for dogs.
Our mission is to create wholesome, nutritious treats using clean, locally sourced ingredients—because our Service Dogs deserve nothing but the best. We believe proper nutrition plays a key role in helping them live long, happy, and healthy lives.

Today, Canine Cavalry offers small-batch dog cookies, supplements, SnaxBox subscriptions, grooming products, and even treats for cats—because Colin and Carl’s feline friends deserve great snacks too. Every product is taste-tested by our CEOs (Cookie Eating Officers), Colin and Carl.

With every purchase, we donate 10% to Wounded Warriors Canada in support of PTSD Service Dog programs for Veterans and First Responders. Because every hero—human or animal—deserves the very best.
Did you know, it costs upwards $30,000 CAD to train a PTSD Service Dog from the time they are ready to start learning (7-weeks old) to the time they are paired with their handler? Ya, we didn't either; which makes sense as to why there is such a long wait list for Veterans and Former First Responders to be paired. The sad truth is that we lose Veterans and First Responders to their demons while they are waiting for their life-changing and life-saving Service Dog. We have pledged to give 10% of our proceeds back to Wounded Warriors Canada, specially to the Service Dog Program which supports organizations like BC & Alberta Guide Dogs and VICD whom train these life-saving heroes.

Canine Cavalry Service Dog
Ambassador Program
Are you an educator of young minds? Or work with children's groups, or adult groups? We offer a 1-2 hour (depending on your needs/time contraints) presentation on Service Dogs. This is what we have called our Ambassador Program, to educate and spread awareness about Service Dogs, types of Service Dogs, and etiquette around Service Dog Teams.

If you are in the communities where we live, we will cover the cost of travel; but we do ask for a donation to either our Cavalry Fund or to Wounded Warriors Canada-Service Dog Section. If you are a school, we do not ask for a donation or travel. Any presentations outside of our communities will be required to pay a stipend to cover gas, and if over meal time, to cover that as well.

If you would like to arrange an Ambassador Program Presentation, please contact us at colin@caninecavalry.ca
